How this film didn't end up on one of our sleepers lists, I'll never know. I guess it just goes to show you that there are films that can even sneak up on the "experts." Not that we're experts or anything, we just have a lot of experience.

The first trailer for Mr. Right debuted today and I was wishing it were Mr. Right Now because that's how bad I want to see it. Sadly, there is a dearth of black comedies about professional hit men. I thought that Grosse Pointe Blank was hilarious and genius and I think we finally found the spiritual little sister to that film.

Sam Rockwell is a world-class hitman who has found his moral compass and now only kills those who hire him out. So yeah, he's sort of like a reverse hitman. Anna Kendrick plays the lovable girl next door who despite being awesome continually attracts the wrong kind of men. The set up here? She really attracted the wrong sort of guy, but it all works out. That is if they can survive to have the happily ever after part.

Sure, you really have to stretch the limits of your suspension of disbelief to think that there's some guy out there who would cheat on Anna Kendrick, but I suppose it takes all kinds of people to make the world go round. I'm happy to see this pairing because Anna and Sam are two of my favorite most underrated actors in the business and it looks like they hit a homerun with this one.

Mr. Right will hit theaters on
